Resources / Fictional demonstrations

Inspect legal-demo assets before sharing them

Remove accidental private information from screenshots and recordings.

01

The operational decision

Remove accidental private information from screenshots and recordings. A public legal-intake demonstration should show a useful conversation while remaining separate from real inquiries and firm decisions. Visitors must understand that the caller, matter and result are fictional.

02

Prepare the workflow

Build assets from synthetic fixtures and inspect browser tabs, sidebars, notifications and hidden panels; avoid using a real intake screen as a template.

03

Example wording for approval

“This image illustrates a fictional inquiry awaiting review. All visible names, dates and operational results are sample data, with no actual client or matter shown.”

04

Worked example

A fictional intake card is safe, but the admin sidebar shows a real matter name from another account. Inspect the full-resolution image, browser tabs and notification areas before publication. Rebuild the screen using a clean synthetic fixture instead of assuming a crop will always hide the surrounding detail. Record the asset version and reviewer. A later edit or wider crop should trigger another check rather than inheriting approval from a different image composition automatically.

05

Handoff record

Record these task-specific fields: asset identifier, fixture source, inspection date, approver.

06

Acceptance check

Inspect the full-resolution asset beyond the central card. A real name or case identifier in a sidebar is still a publication failure.
