The operational decision
Make the demonstration result useful and clearly fictional. A public legal-intake demonstration should show a useful conversation while remaining separate from real inquiries and firm decisions. Visitors must understand that the caller, matter and result are fictional.
Prepare the workflow
Display the broad category, preferred contact window and pending-review status; remove client-created, conflict-cleared or appointment-confirmed badges.
Example wording for approval
“Sample inquiry: estate-planning consultation request, fictional contact preference, awaiting firm review. This demonstration has not created a real client or booked a consultation.”
Worked example
A fictional result card says Estate-planning request, Tuesday afternoon preferred, Awaiting firm review. That is useful because it shows the handoff stage without claiming acceptance. A badge saying New client won would undermine the same example. Review the card alone as well as within the page, since it may be shared as an image. The public sample should make clear that no real consultation, conflict review or attorney action occurred during the demonstration.
Handoff record
Record these task-specific fields: sample fields, status label, excluded claims, editor.
Acceptance check
View the summary as an isolated screenshot. It must still communicate a fictional pending inquiry rather than a real successful legal engagement.
